Halloween was around the corner, and I want to surprise my son and his friends in school. I decided to try do some decorated sugar cookies. My first attempt was not so great as I see now, but my son and all his friends loved my cookies. My son told me they were delicious. And he asked me to do more cookies.

It was Christmas holiday coming up and we decided to do some cookies again. Not only for his friends also for his teachers. This time the cookies were made with detailed for the holiday occasion.

I found lots of groups on Facebook about cookies. How they were made and some tips and tricks about decorating cookies. Everything that I learned about baking and decorating cookies was from Facebook groups. They were so helpful for me, and now people can’t believe that I’ve been baking and decorating cookies less then 1 year. Lots of women asked my advice how to do make cookies and how I decorated mine.

I started my education as an artist. I used my skills as an artist draw on cookies, decorate cupcakes and cake pops and cake balls.

I started a home Bakery on January 2024. At that time I opened my Etsy shop and in 1,5 month later I received my first order. I had no clue what to do and how to send, pack and keep safe my cookies from breaking in shipping. I made lots of mistakes but it helped me to learn how safely pack and ship my orders.

I am a hair styles by day and bake my orders at night and early morning before my shift. I work on my Etsy shop when I was commuting on the subway to my salon. I was listening tips about how to sell on Etsy.

Need to tell you if you want to receive something great in the future and enjoy what you were doing you have to work hard in the beginning and never give up!

Sometimes I have a feeling that all what I try to do it a challenge for me… can I passed it or not… of course I can! Just keep practicing and let your friends and potential customers to try your bake and give you review.
